Neil enjoyed his time in the trenches from 1970 as a licensed plumber, drainer and gasfitter. As a natural extension of his work in plumbing Neil became involved in the hydraulic consultancy industry in 1979. He extended his qualifications and graduated from the Plumbing Supervisory, LP Gas and Backflow Prevention Courses.

In 2009 Neil became a Fellow of the Association of Hydraulic Services Consultants of Australia. He holds BSA Membership No. 1001113.
In recent years Neil has been sought out as an expert witness and to prepare reports on several plumbing related Insurance Claims.
Neil’s hands-on experience helps with developing practical hydraulic services designs that are well respected by clients, government authorities and the plumbers who work with them.
His motto? “This is my standard, I won’t compromise on quality”.
Neil has always had an affinity with water – he holds the distinction of holding the record for swimming the fastest time at the Sandgate Swimming Pool, did fundraising marathon swims from Woody Point to Sandgate, competed in water polo, made the trek to the beach as a dedicated surf lifesaver and later for recreational surfing. His other interests include sculpting, pottery and working at the Annual Rotary Art Show.
